Are you a poor Plebeian in your slums apartment? Or are you a rich Patrician in your villa?

Lets say your a plebeian, your most common form of accommodation that you will have is a room in the slums as they would call it. An apartment like building where the lower the floor your on the better, because if you live on any floor higher than level one or two, you have to bring up your own water, and you also didn’t have any proper plumbing. So that means no bathrooms, or toilets. The other form of accommodation a Plebeian would have if he has been saving up some money is a country house to farm some crops with the family.

However if you where to come to Rome a rich and noble man or woman, you would live in style, you would have an amazing villa with about nine different kinds of rooms, including a pillar garden, a small greenhouse and even a shop to sell the junk you don’t want, after all “one mans junk is another mans treasure.”
